EXCELLENT Based on 50 reviews Posted on Google Linda MartinezTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have never seen a group of people that genuinely care so much and put in so much individual time. The techs in housing John, Nicole, Jamie, and Nelson were so amazing, compassionate, helpful, and genuinely cared about our mental health. The camaraderie and support between the peers was incredible. The facility and the home I stayed in were extremely clean, meetings were a big help, and the Saturday activities were so much fun. I have to say my favorite time was the housing Sunday dinner. This place helped save my life. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking mental and or substance abuse help.Posted on Google Miranda HonigTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. After rehab, I thought I was going home to my old environment. However, I was recommended Rubicon by the aftercare coordinator. I kicked a shoe at the wall because I so badly wanted to just go home. I came with a hot warning, being so lost, and they welcomed me with open arms. She told me i'd never want to leave once I got there and she was right. Rubicon has given me a place to be my newfound self. The counselors are down to earth and caring. So are owners Mike and Laura. My counselor was Kelly, and she has helped me TREMENDOUSLY. She helped me mend relationships that have been complicated due to my addictive patterns. I did in-patient PHP over the summer and housing is so comfortable. We went to meetings at night and the gym as well as church on sundays. The techs Nicole and Jamie are incredible. I am sad to be leaving, but I will be back for alumni gatherings -sincerely, Mandy *exaggerated southern accent* may you never forget my excessive laughter. You guys taught me to giggle and laugh and enjoy life againPosted on Google Danny KnappickTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. One of the most important factors when judging a rehab center such as Rubicon, has more to do with the staff than anything else and Rubicon has some of the most knowledgeable & caring staff I've ever witnessed. Fantastic program that really takes the time to ensure the patients come first above anything else!Posted on Google Rakia harrisTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. From the moment I walked through the doors, I felt supported, understood, and valued. The staff is incredibly compassionate and knowledgeable, providing not just top notch care but also genuine encouragement every step of the way.Posted on Google MTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Can easily say, this is where community is created. Recovery requires slow but distinct change, and the staff and counseling at Rubicon encourage that change with plenty of support. From a beautiful clinical center to compassionate, knowledgeable professionals, every detail fosters healing and growth. The tailored programs and genuine care make all the difference. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a supportive environment for recovery. Work it cause you're worth it, and Rubicon helps you see your worth.Posted on Google Matthew HoodTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I came into Rubicon Recovery Center in April 2024 after struggling with alcohol and substance use disorder for over 20 years. I had NO HEALTH INSURANCE. I didn't want to get sober and was facing DUI charges in my home state. I arrived under the influence and had to go to detox prior to my admission. Upon arriving for admission I noticed the facilities ( both the housing in Bound Brook and the treatment offices in Watching ) were brand new construction. Everything was immaculate. I also paid close attention to the level of care I received. I never got such an intensive level of service from therapists, support staff and housing personnel. One story that still sticks with me is a Tech who neatly and precisely folded my laundry while I was at the treatment office. I arrived to see all my clothes in the room color coordinated and hung in the closet! Everyday brought new experiences which remain stamped on my mind. I completed PHP after 6 weeks and stayed as an IOP client for another month before leaving in July 2024. I truly believe that ANYONE who wants to get clean and has the opportunity to experience Rubicon Recovery Center should give it a shot. There is a unique mix of Group therapy, outside meetings, 1 on 1 therapy, holistic healing, 12-step based learning, CBT, gym membership, yoga and meditation. I still maintain contact with the staff and I just picked up 9 months sobriety in January 2025. My whole attitude and outlook of life has changed drastically. Of course, not everything was smooth sailing... I have to be 100 percent honest like my program suggests. I had an issue in my apartment with insects that entered through the balcony sliding doors. There were issues with some of the behavioral techs. I believe 3 got administrative discharges due to misconduct. I didn't agree with the directions for aftercare, and I didn't have health insurance so everything regarding billing was paid for out of pocket. But my willingness to commit to everything that was suggested by staff is the primary reason I am still sober today. I am forever grateful to the wonderful staff and techs at Rubicon Recovery Center in Watchung, New Jersey. I now reside in a halfway house in Broward City, FLA which the current Program Director, Michael DeMasi, attended prior to starting in the business of Substance Abuse Rehabilitation. I am gainfully employed, still attend 12 step meetings and still maintain regular contact with my peers from the program, with whom I formed great relationships. I look forward to attending alumni events and also giving back to the community my experience and my hope for the future. In my opinion, getting clean is the hardest thing an addict like myself can ever do. Once I got clean, I had a shot. I started getting into a daily routine which includes prayer and meditation, going to meetings, and helping other addicts before I help myself. Now, I live my life ONE DAY AT A TIME and I don't regret a single minute. I LOVE YOU RUBICON. GOD BLESS YOU ALL. MATTHEW H. CLASS OF 2024Posted on Google John BeneventoTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Where do I start. This is one of the best decisions of my life to go here. The staff, all of them have helped me in my recovery more than they know. They have saved my life. I would and do recommend the Rubicon to anyone struggling with addiction.Posted on Google Jason KornitasTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
